PEEKSKILL – Two men have been arrested in connection with an armed robbery in the City of Peekskill early Wednesday.
City police said the incident occurred around 2:39 a.m. on the 300 block of Highland Avenue and during the course of that robbery a gun was fired.
By 6:10 p.m., police located and apprehended Peekskill resident Jarron Sligh and seized an illegally possessed gun.
He was charged with armed robbery, reckless endangerment, two counts of criminal possession of a weapon, assault, obstructing governmental administration, and resisting arrest.
He was remanded to the Westchester County Jail.
At around 8:20 a.m. on Thursday, police arrested David Herbin of Peekskill was arrested in connection with the robbery. He was also charged with armed robbery and remanded.
