Brandon Nimmo tied the game at two in the top of the sixth inning with his 14th home run of the season, and then the pitching unraveled.Â
The Pirates scored five two-out runs on an infield single, a two-run double, a wild pitch, and a solo home run before adding another in the eighth to pull away for the victory.Â
Christian Scott was charged with two runs over 5.2 innings in his seventh big-league start. Eric Orze did not record an out and gave up three runs, and Adrian Houser allowed three.Â
