Sabres fall to Canucks in overtime

The Buffalo Sabres (11-10-2) battled back from a two-goal third-period deficit but fell to the Vancouver Canucks (12-7-3), 4-3, in overtime on Friday evening at KeyBank Center.

Dylan Cozens and Alex Tuch scored goals in the final seven minutes of regulation to tie the game before Vancouverโ€™s Connor Garland tapped in the game-winner with just over a minute remaining in overtime.

Bowen Byram also found the back of the net for the Sabres, while Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen made 18 saves.

Buffalo went 0-for-5 on the power play and outshot the Canucks 34-22.

The Sabres look to snap a two-game skid on Saturday night when they visit the New York Islanders at 7:30 p.m.
