MID-HUDSON – Friday’s heavy downpours decimated parts of New York City and the Hudson Valley was not immune to the latest storm.
Governor Kathy Hochul declared a state of emergency for the Hudson Valley in addition to the Big Apple.
Most of the flooding in the Valley appears to have centered east of the Hudson River, while areas around Middletown on the west side of the river got rain but nowhere near the amount in other areas.
Parts of the Saw Mill River Parkway in Westchester were flooded so severely that vehicles were under water.
