MAYBROOK – One girl was seriously injured when she reportedly fell out of a school bus after a tire blowout while it was traveling on Interstate 84 Wednesday evening at around 7:30.
A yellow school bus with Hebrew lettering on the side could be seen in the eastbound lanes just before the Maybrook exit for Route 208.
A group of young girls was gathered outside the bus on the side of the highway.
Traffic on the interstate was backed up for miles as police had the eastbound lanes show down for about two hours.
