HYDE PARK – Locals and visitors have discovered an old gem in Hyde Park; the Hyde Park Antiques Center. The Albany Post Road (Route 9) facility has been declared the “Best Antique Store” by a regional publication encompassing the entire Hudson Valley. Operators Kelly and Pete Nogulla of R&R Antiques were humbled by the award and thanked their loyal group of vendors and customers at a recent reception.
Located in a building that began as a stage stop in the 1700s, several vendors display their goods in more than 9,500 square feet of space, seven days a week.
Zach Stevens and Stephanie Feline moved from New York City during the pandemic when they purchased a Stanfordville farmhouse. The couple refers to the Hyde Park Antiques Center as their “go-to destination for home furnishings”. Stevens said “We have noticed a remarkable change to the center in the last six months with new vendors, a spruced-up look, and an even friendlier atmosphere.” The changes began when the Nogulla family took over the operations. “I am thrilled for new managers Pete and Kelly Nogulla on this much-deserved award.”
Carolyn Klein, a longtime vendor specializing in estate jewelry also praised the Nogulla couple. “The hard work and vision of Pete and Kelly have truly reinvigorated this jeweled destination.”
