HIGHLAND FALLS – As the Highland Falls area continues to recover from this past summer’s massive floods, one local organization is offering assistance.
The Highland Falls Rotary continues to help the community and its residents pull itself up following the devastation, said group president Charlie Murphy.
“We are trying to raise awareness of the value of a small group team effort. We had a tremendous groundswell of neighbor helping neighbor during the disaster and we want to capitalize on that and really leverage it now and make it an ongoing thing that will help us in the future,” she said.
The Rotary’s Tim Donovan said their aid is representative of the group’s motto, “Service Above Self.”
