KINGSTON – The State Health Department has designtaed HealthAlliance Hospital in Kingston as a provisional level III adult trauma center.
The trauma service now available at HealthAlliance Hispital is a member of the Westchester is in tandum with Westchester Medical Center Health Network. It is comprises of physicians, nurses, and other clinical specialist with trauma expertise who will work, in tandem with trauma specialits throughout the WMCHealth Network.
The Kingston health facility joins the network of trauma centers across the Hudson Valley, which includes MidHudson Regional Hospital, a level II trauma center in Poughkeepsie, and good Samaritan Hospital, a level III trauma center in Suffern.
The care these trauma centers provide integrates with the only level I trauma center for adults and children in the Hudson Valley at Westchester Medical Center ant Maria Farei Children’s Hospital, both of which are in Valhalla.
