NEW WINDSOR – Following the retirement of New Windsor Town Supervisor George Meyers, former councilman Stephen Bedetti was sworn in by Orange County Clerk Kelly Eskew on New Year’s Day.
Bedetti stood with his family and mother as he took the oath and spoke of his late father, who passed away two years ago. “I know he’s watching and I’m wearing his watch,” he said.
Charles Broe was also sworn in as a town councilman and Pattricia Clarino took the oath of office as the new town clerk.
