Lockport firefighters responded to an early morning residential fire Monday.
Fire officials received a call at 5:51 a.m. about an attic fire at 93 Juniper St.
When firefighters arrived, the tenants were outside the house with their dog. No injuries were reported.
Firefighters saw fire near the peak of the structure’s roof, near a chimney. They entered the house and located the fire in the middle of the attic, extinguishing it.
They worked through the attic to find other hotspots throughout the area. It took the firefighters, who suffered no injuries, about four hours to bring it under control.
