WASHINGTON DC- Congressman Pat Ryan announced the February schedule for his Constituent Advocacy Resources Empowerment Services (C.A.R.E.S.) Van. The van, staffed by highly-trained caseworkers from the Congressman’s team, provides direct assistance to constituents across NY-18 – ensuring people can access everything from passports to Social Security to flood recovery assistance right in their community. Congressman Ryan’s office will be partnering with State Senator Michelle Hichey’s office for the Thursday, February 22nd C.A.R.E.S. Van events in Millbrook and Millerton to bring assistance with both federal and state level agencies to constituents.
“Everyone deserves the assistance they need right where they’re at,” said Congressman Ryan. “My team goes that extra mile to cut through bureaucratic red tape and get Hudson Valley families the benefits they’ve earned with the C.A.R.E.S. Van. We’re almost at our goal of visiting every one of NY-18’s 82 municipalities. If you could use assistance, I hope you’ll join my team at one of this month’s events.”
“This month, my office is proud to partner with Congressman Pat Ryan’s Office to bring both state and federal services to our neighbors in Dutchess County through our mobile office hours so people can easily access the assistance they need in one convenient visit,” said State Senator Michelle Hinchey. “We’re here to be a resource and encourage Dutchess residents to visit our Constituent Services teams in Millerton and Millbrook later this February!”
By the end of February, the C.A.R.E.S. Van will have made 82 visits to 77 different municipalities in NY-18. The full list of locations is below.
