KINGSTON- State Senator Michelle Hinchey announced that members of her constituent services team will hold mobile office hours throughout February. Constituents are invited to meet with constituent services specialists from Hinchey’s team for direct assistance, which can include help working with any state agency, heating and housing support, connections to food and health resources, solving EZPass and DMV issues, and more. Free COVID tests and masks will be available at all mobile office hours.
Senator Michelle Hinchey said, “Government services should be accessible for everyone, and through our mobile office hours, my office provides direct support to our neighbors in convenient locations across our communities. Starting in February, we’re expanding our late-night office hours as a weekly service every Thursday in Kingston and incorporating more state and federal assistance opportunities by partnering with the NYS Comptroller DiNapoli’s Office of Unclaimed Funds and Congressman Pat Ryan’s office. We’re here to be a resource, and I encourage folks to meet with my team during our mobile office hours this month!”
“Help and relief in your own neighborhood – that’s the service everyone deserves from their representatives,” said Congressman Pat Ryan. “I’m proud to partner with Senator Hinchey to bring assistance with both federal and state agencies to Dutchess County with my C.A.R.E.S. Van on February 22nd. Hope you’ll join our teams there.”
Beginning February 1, Senator Hinchey’s Kingston office will operate late-night hours every Thursday, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Additionally, at select office hours throughout the month, Hinchey’s office will partner with NYS Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli’s Office to provide constituents with the chance to see if they are owed unclaimed funds as well as Congressman Pat Ryan’s Office for support accessing federal benefits and resources.
