Orchard Park workplace safety startup secures seed funding led by Launch NY

An Orchard Park startup providing workplace safety advice to job sites through the use of an app has completed a round of seed funding assisted by Launch NY.

TeleSafety intends to use the funds to invest in research and development, marketing and user experience enhancement in support of the productโ€™s launch.

Launch NY, which provides mentoring and access to risk capital for high-growth startups, was the lead investor in TeleSafetyโ€™s seed funding round.

Amounts were not disclosed.

TeleSafety, which was founded in 2018 by Joe and John Coniglio, provides access to live workplace safety experts for questions and professional advice.

It is intended to prevent workplace accidents and reduce costs associated with OSHA fines. The app delivers up-to-date information on regulatory changes and safety-related news, industry safety training by topic and safety reminders.
