Trash and recycling pickups in Buffalo will be delayed by one day during the coming week because of the New Year’s Day holiday, the city’s Department of Public Works, Parks and Streets announced.
There will be no collections on Monday, New Year’s Day, officials said. Pickups scheduled on Monday will be made on Tuesday.
Collections will be one day later than usual all week. Friday pickups will be done on Saturday. Curbside collections also were delayed by one day last week because of the Christmas holiday.
