Winter schedule now in effect at Buffalo Zoo, continues through March 28

Starting this week and continuing through March 28, the zoo will be open only on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., zoo officials announced. 

The exceptions will be on Christmas Week, when the zoo will be open Tuesday, Dec. 26, through Friday, Dec. 29; Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, Jan. 15, and Presidents Day on Monday, Feb. 19. The zoo will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

Education programs at the zoo will continue during the week and are available for enrollment. Animal care teams and staff also will continue to work on weekdays.
